Dominasi Billboard Music Awards

VIVAnews – Rihanna meraih 18 nominasi di Billboard Music Awards 2011. Pelantun ‘Umbrella’ itu memperoleh nominasi terbanyak di penghargaan musik itu. Selain Rihanna, Eminem, Lady GaGa, Bruno Mars, dan Justin Bieber juga menjadi nominator.

Nama-nama nominator Billboard Musiv Awards 2011 itu diumumkan baru-baru ini di Las Vegas. Seperti dikutip femalefirst, Rihanna menjadi kandidat untuk kategori Artis Terpopuler, Artis Perempuan Terpopuler, Artis R&B Terpopuler, dan Artis Dansa Terpopuler, dan lain-lain.

Sementara lagu duetnya dengan Eminem, ‘Love the Way You Lie,’ menempatkannya sebagai kandidat peraih penghargaan di enam kategori lainnya.

Eminem sendiri memperoleh 16 nominasi, antara lain untuk kategori Artis Terpopuler versi Billboard, Artis Terpopuler, Artis Pria Terpopuler, dan Artis Rap Terpopuler.

Selanjutnya, Lady GaGa membuntuti dengan meraih 12 nominasi Billboard Music Awards. Di bawahnya, Bruno Mars dan Justin Bieber meraih 11 nominasi penghargaan. Billboard Music Awards akan digelar di Las Vegas pada 22 Mei 2011 mendatang.
